Shire land sales

We are committed to ensuring that surplus Shire owned land is made available for redevelopment and proceeds of land sales are reinvested back into important new infrastructure such as community centres, preschools, sporting facilities, public open space and libraries.

We will consider land surplus to their requirements if the site no longer contributes to current or future service delivery needs.

Land sales to the public are conducted through open and competitive processes (e.g. auctions and tenders) with the reserve price set on the basis of valuations prepared by a registered valuer.
