Sorrento Foreshore Camping
The Sorrento foreshore reserves are open for camping from the last weekend in October through to the last weekend in April. Bookings can be made here
The campground is located on the foreshore reserve between the main road and the beach. The village of Sorrento is only a short drive away, as is the Sorrento to Queenscliff ferry which crosses Port Phillip Bay to the Bellarine Peninsula and the Great Ocean Road.
Sites are irregular in size and shape as they are set in the natural Crown land environment. This nature reserve is prepared for camping before the opening of the camping season. Sites are not mown once the season commences. Campers should be prepared to enjoy the natural environment. Although many sites are elevated, they are set back from the beach and most do not offer a view or direct beach access. The Sorrento campground is naturally hilly, and some sites can be challenging to access for inexperienced caravaners. If you are unsure about suitability please contact the camping office on 03 5950 1011 before making a booking.
Camping amenities include toilet, shower and laundry facilities. There are both powered and non-powered sites. Water taps are shared and are not for exclusive use for any site.
