Sorrento Foreshore Camping
Sorrento foreshore camping is recommended if you like a smaller foreshore campground. It's just 1km in length along the beach with 147 sites. The village of Sorrento is only a short drive away, as is the Sorrento to Queenscliff ferry which crosses Port Phillip Bay to the Bellarine Peninsula and the Great Ocean Road.
Camping facilities include shower and toilet blocks, grassy areas shaded by large trees and boat launching ramps close by.
The Sorrento Foreshores are managed by the Shire. Foreshore camping is available from the last weekend of October just in time for the Melbourne Cup weekend to April. Camping outside these times is not permitted. The foreshore camping grounds offer both powered and non-powered sites for caravans and tents.
