Celebrate Children's Week from 24 October to 1 November with free and low-cost activities for children and families across the Mornington Peninsula. 

Children’s Week is a national event held annually, promoting awareness of children’s rights under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). Led by the Children’s Week Council of Australia, the week encourages national participation and supports children to be seen, heard, and celebrated in every community. 

The Children’s Week National Theme for 2026 is based on UNCRC Article 30: Children have the right to use their own language, celebrate their culture and practise their religion. 

We are proud to host free family-friendly events and activities that showcase childhood and bring families together.
