Our Geographic Information System (GIS) Team provides a Shire wide service for the provision of spatial information and analysis.  

Planning Scheme Maps

Ward Maps

Ward maps can be downloaded by visiting our section on Wards

Online Maps

You can use our online mapping tool to see a range of information including:

  • Waste collection areas
  • Flood and bushfire prone areas
  • Leash free areas
  • Aerial photography over various years from 2003 to today
  • Infrastructure assets such as drainage, signs, waterways, toilet blocks, carparks, playgrounds and the current Capital Works Program
  • Planning Information including planning zones and overlays representing the Shire’s Planning Scheme.

Customised Maps

The GIS team also create maps based on Shire-related spatial information, together with external data to produce customised maps for the public. These maps are generally limited to the Mornington Peninsula Shire area and there may be a fee involved for the production of these.
