Briars After-Dark Wildlife Walk & Wildlife Talk

Get up close & personal with some real wildlife! 

Join Wildlife Sidekicks as they introduce you some of our amazing local native wildlife species, letting you get up close and personal with some of the animals. Then we’ll head out for an After-Dark Wildlife Walk to see what we can find in the wild of the Briars Sanctuary!  

30 June & 6 July 6.30-8.30pm $32 adult, $25.90 concession / child

Children must be supervised by an adult.

Briars Junior Rangers: Warm or Cold Blooded

Are you warm blooded or cold blooded?  Join Dyllan from Wildlife Sidekicks and meet some of his wonderful wildlife and discover some of the amazing skills they use to keep warm.  Suitable 6-10yo. Parents enjoy a cuppa and relax as this is a kids only program.

Briars Aboriginal Cultural Walk


Celebrate NAIDOC week and discover how Victorian Aboriginals have cared for and used the flora and fauna of the Mornington Peninsula during a beautiful walk with Pitjantjatjara man Sean Moyle (Living Culture) as your guide.  This walk will empower, educate, engage and connect you with the land and moment.  

Sunday 3 July 10am -12.30pm & 1 – 3.30pm $45 adult / $35 concession

Picnics and BBQ's

There are plenty of beautiful lawn and garden spaces for you to enjoy a picnic in the outdoors. The BBQ and picnic areas are also open to the public. If you are planning a special event you can book out the bbq area for your groups use. Give us a call to discuss!

Heritage Gardens and Farm

Immerse yourself in the past as you wander through the grounds of the Heritage Homestead. Beautiful formal gardens create lovely walks and picnic areas. Head into the Heritage Seed Garden to discover heritage varieties of vegetables! Say hello to the heritage pigs and chickens.
