Work Experience

Our work experience program offers placements for secondary and tertiary students to gain valuable experience within local government.

We acknowledge and appreciate the significance of gaining work experience and the advantages it offers to both students and the Mornington Peninsula Shire.

We can only accommodate work experience opportunities for Year 10 students and those enrolled in tertiary education who require a student placement to fulfill course requirements.

Work experience placements are open to all students living or attending a high school in the Mornington Peninsula region.

Applying for work experience

Please fill in the Work Experience Expression of Interest Form below and include reasons for wanting to undertake a placement at the Shire.

While the Shire will make every effort to offer work experience placements, at peak times of the year we may not be able to accommodate all students.
