Wheelchair and scooter passes
Free travel passes are available for scooter and wheelchair users. To be eligible, you must have a permanent and severe disability, be dependent on a scooter or wheelchair for mobility outside the home, and be a permanent resident of Victoria. Travel passes can be obtained by visiting ptv.vic.gov.au.
Please note: To be eligible you must have your dependence certified by a General Practitioner or Specialist.
Scooter Recharge Scheme
Scooter recharge locations support people who use an electric mobility scooter or wheelchair. The Recharge Scheme is an initiative which invites businesses to provide a power point for people to recharge the batteries of their electric wheelchair or scooter.
