To host a wedding ceremony on the Mornington Peninsula on public open space managed by Shire, you are required to apply for a wedding permit. To check availability, please contact the Events Team.
Permits are required for commercial filming or photo shoots on Shire owned land.
Fundraising permits are issued to charitable organisations, local non-profit groups and other organisations whose activities will benefit local community.
Designated temporary community event signage sites exist throughout the peninsula to help you promote your upcoming event or market. There are a total of 20 signage sites and 4 banner sites available.
The Council has a Marquee and Soundshell which are made available to community groups in order to assist event organiser with the provision of significant infrastructure.
