Tenders

If you wish to do business with the Shire, you may be required to tender.  Depending on the type of work that you are supplying there are different processes. 

When you view a specific tender in our current tender listing, it will detail what is required and whether you need to be registered with a specific system (i.e. Avetta for contractors or Tenderlink).  Details of these systems are outlined below.

Due to the complexities of Shire business, these systems are necessary to streamline our business processes.

 

What is e-Procurement (Tenderlink)?

Where specified in the tender documents, it may be necessary to use our e-Procurement system, run by Tenderlink, to submit your tender submission.

Contractor Management Prequalification System

‘Avetta’ is the Shire’s Contractor Management Prequalification and Verification System.

The Shire has a requirement for Contractors to be registered and approved within a contractor management prequalification and verification system. The ‘Avetta’ system is used to support our Supplier Management Program.

Tenders Disclaimer - Closing Dates and Times

Closing dates and times for Tenders are strictly enforced and late tenders will not be accepted. Council accept tenders electronically through our Tenderlink Portal unless otherwise specified in the Tender Documentation.

Supplier Code of Conduct

The Supplier Code of Conduct (Code) describes the minimum expectations in the areas of integrity, ethics and conduct; conflict of interest, gifts, benefits and hospitality; corporate governance; labour and human rights; health and safety; environmental management, and child safety.
