As a trainee, you’ll work at the Shire for a 12-month program which will offer learning and development opportunities, the chance to expand personal and professional capabilities, while completing a Certificate III in Business - a formal and recognised qualification, through a Registered Training Organisation.

The Shire’s Traineeship Program provides flexible employment and training opportunities for people wanting to build a career. The program is aimed at attracting:
- School leavers
- Adults entering or returning to the workforce, reskilling, or seeking a career change.
What should you expect?
The 12-month Traineeship Program is a full-time position. Participants in the program are supported every step of the way with opportunities to learn and grow on the job while completing a Certificate III in Business - a formal and recognised qualification.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a traineeship, applicants must:
- Be aged 18 years or older and no longer at school.
- Be able to meet citizen, residency, and visa requirements to undertake a traineeship.
