Briars Ward makes up the area from Mount Eliza, through to Mornington and Mount Martha and borders Port Phillip Bay and Moorooduc.
The Cerberus Ward was established in 2004 as part of the Shire’s amalgamation, and makes up the area that includes Tuerong, Merricks North, Balnarring, Bittern, Hastings, Crib Point and Tyabb.
Nepean Ward comprises Tootgarook, Rye, Blairgowrie, Sorrento and Portsea.
Red Hill Ward is a predominantly rural area and borders Rye/St Andrews to the west and Western Port Bay to the south east.
Seawinds Ward encompasses the area from Safety Beach, through Dromana, McCrae and Rosebud to Capel Sound.
The Watson Ward area is made up of a mix of rural and residential land use with some small industrial and commercial areas.
