Rye Foreshore Camping

The Rye foreshore reserves are open for camping from the last weekend in October through to the last weekend in April. These campgrounds are currently closed. Bookings for the next camping season will open online Tuesday 1 August 2023 at midday.

The coastal town of Rye is a popular holiday destination between Tootgarook and Blairgowrie. The family friendly beaches are ideal for swimming and boating.

The Rye campground is located on the foreshore reserve between the main road and the beach. Sites may be irregular in size and shape as they are set in the natural environment. Camping amenities include toilet, shower and laundry facilities. There are both powered and non-powered sites. Water taps are shared and are not for exclusive use for any site.
