Election (Caretaker) Period

Mornington Peninsula Shire Council has now entered the Election (Caretaker) Period, until 6pm 26 October (Election Day). During this time, the Election Period Policy will be in effect to ensure that the election is conducted fairly, equitably, and ethically while allowing Council business to continue in a responsible and transparent manner.

Food businesses

If you are selling food from a stall, cart, van or truck then you'll likely need to register on FoodTrader.

Food at events and markets

Food sold at local markets, events and festivals will still need to adhere to safety regulations. This includes food vehicles, temporary food stalls, sausage sizzles, community groups and temporary food premises.
