Integrated Transport Strategy

Help shape the future of how we get around the Peninsula

We’re planning for the future of transport across the Mornington Peninsula, and we need your input!

Whether you walk, cycle, drive, or use public transport, this is your chance to have a say in how we get around now and for years to come.

We’re kicking off the first round of consultation for our Integrated Transport Strategy, and we want to hear from you.

What improvements would you like to see? How can we make it easier for you to get from place to place, reduce congestion, and create safer, more accessible routes?

This is just the first step. We’re gathering your thoughts to help shape what should be included in the draft Strategy. Once we’ve got a draft together, hopefully early next year, we’ll come back to you for more feedback.

What’s the Strategy all about?

Our focus is on:

  • Connecting our community: Making it easier to travel between townships and key destinations.

  • Supporting sustainable transport: More options for walking, cycling, public transport, micromobility and reducing our environmental impact.

  • Safety for everyone: Ensuring transport routes are safe and accessible for all.

  • Making life easier: Cutting down on travel time and easing congestion while supporting local businesses.

  • Future-proofing: Planning for population growth and adapting to emerging transport technologies.

How can you get involved?

Community consultation is currently open and closes 17 December 2024. Here’s how you can provide your thoughts and ideas:

We’ve set up an interactive map where you can drop pins and share where you think improvements are needed - whether it’s a safer intersection, better walking paths, or easier access to public transport, let us know!
