Mornington Peninsula Shire (MPS) social media accounts promote and present matters of public interest to residents, businesses, and visitors.

Moderation occurs 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

MPS does not respond to all comments; we provide links to further information when available.

Views and comments expressed by users are those of the users and do not reflect the views of MPS. Account administrators may delete comments or block users for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Irrelevance to the post/topic
  • Defamatory comments
  • Vulgar or offensive language
  • Personal attacks
  • Vilification of any ethnic, racial, religious group or any other attribute protected by law
  • Breach of our Child Safe and Wellbeing Policy
  • Breach of law
  • Spam
  • Commercial promotion
  • Infringement of intellectual property
  • Flooding or ongoing posting of comments of the same nature or the same issue, when these comments have been appropriately responded to in the past and no additional information can be provided
