Our brand-new waste trucks are hitting the streets with incredible mural artwork by local artists Jack and Josh – and now it’s YOUR turn to colour the same designs.

Kids of all ages across the Mornington Peninsula are invited to enter our Waste Truck Colouring Competition.

Thank you to everyone who entered our Waste Truck Colouring Competition. We received hundreds of creative and colourful submissions.

Use crayons, pencils, markers – it’s up to you.

Step 3.Submit your entry

Terms and Conditions

  1. The competition is open to children aged Preschool (3–5 years), Junior (6–8 years) and Senior (9–12 years) who live or attend school in Mornington Peninsula Shire.
  2. Entries must be submitted by 15 October 2025. Late entries will not be accepted.
  3. All entries must be the child’s own work.
  4. One entry per child.
  5. Prizes will be awarded for each age category. Prize details will be announced soon.
  6. Winners will be contacted by phone/email.
  7. By entering, parents/guardians consent to the child’s first name, age, and artwork being shared on Council’s website, social media, and promotional materials.
  8. Judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  9. If unclaimed, prize will be redrawn after 30 days.
  10. Council accepts no responsibility for lost, late, or misdirected entries.
