Safety Beach: Safety Beach Access Upgrades

Safety Beach experiences high levels of visitation throughout the year, especially during peak summer season. It has been identified that there needs to be improved beach access for people with disabilities as currently there exists only one suitable ramp near the Safety Beach Sailing Club.

This project will deliver an accessible ramp opposite Victoria Street and design for an accessible footpath opposite Prescott Avenue.

Site works have commenced with the support piles being installed. Installation of the support structure, ramp decking and stair treads are soon to commence.
