Mount Martha: Dunns Road Fitness Equipment Replacement

The exercise equipment at Dunns Road Reserve was removed and requires replacement. This presents an opportunity to develop and pilot exercise equipment for all ages and all abilities.

The aim of this project is to install new exercise equipment that can accommodate all abilities and ages, in a landscaped space that will encourage shared use by the community.

Community feedback included new exercise equipment, rubber soft fall, bench seats and shade from trees. Exercise equipment is to be installed at multiple points along the access path. One station is to be focused for older people including balance, functional movement and activities, joint range of motion and mobility. This community feedback has helped shape the contents of the tendered works.

Construction for both the seniors and general fitness equipment was completed in January and ready for use.
