Josephine's Restaurant at the Briars has remained vacant and unused since 2020/21. Council's Destination Experience team is eager to reopen the building for community use and as a leasable facility.
This is a multi-year project incorporating essential safety upgrades, critical maintenance works, and the renewal of toilet amenities.
At present, the project is on hold pending the development of a cost plan by consultants. This plan will inform the delivery strategy and support evidence-based decision-making.
