The Hastings Foreshore Masterplan identified that the existing car park located at Hastings Boat Ramp is inadequate to accommodate the increased use that the facility is experiencing.

The current scope of the car park upgrade:

  • Improve traffic flow in and out of the carpark
  • Increase parking capacity
  • Improve pedestrian safety for Bay Trail users
  • Maintain green space for multi-use benefits

The concept design has been developed in consultation with the Western Port Angling Club and Hastings Yacht Club with broader community consultation undertaken between 23 June and 6 August 2025. A survey and further details to capture community feedback are available at this webpage until 6 August: Hastings Boat Ramp Carpark. Feedback obtained will be considered in the finalisation of the concept design prior to progressing the design further.
