Dromana: Dromana Recreation Reserve - Portable Change rooms

Dromana Recreation Reserve is the utilised for multiple cricket and AFL teams. Alongside these teams, there is a newly constructed Netball court which these portables will service. 

To provide appropriate changerooms for the Sporting Clubs using this reserve, two portable changerooms are to be installed at the Dromana Recreation Reserve. In addition, the neighbouring Senior Citizens Centre will also utilise the portables as a storage facility and a dry kitchenette area. 

To keep up with the increasing numbers of participation in local sports, changerooms are required to provide a safe space for players & umpires to get changed before and following training and matches. 

Not all sporting reserves have appropriate facilities to support the increasing participation numbers in sport across the Peninsula. 

Portable Changerooms are used as a temporary means to address this issue by providing a changing space for team members and umpires to get changed appropriately at each reserve.  

Works are now completed for the installation of the new portables at Dromana Recreation Reserve. These are now ready to use and open for the sports clubs and community!
