National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day

We invite all Mornington Peninsula children and families to join us for a morning of storytelling and children’s activities at Hastings Library with Willum Warrain and Living Culture.

Skyla Lauch from Living Culture will read this year’s Children’s Day book Wamparla Apiṟa.

Sklya is a proud Gunditjmara Kirrae Wurrung-Bundjalung woman born and raised on Boonwurrung/ Bunurong land.

Storytime begins at 10.30am and will include a Welcome to Country. Also on offer:

• Find out about cultural programs offered by Willum Warrain
• Traditional artefacts, bush tucker and medicine
• Children’s activities
• Speak to local child and family services
