My Aged Care is the centralised intake system for aged care services. To register with our Shire services, please contact My Aged Care.

Who is eligible?

Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) is entry-level support services designed for people 65 and over, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 50 and over. Aimed for older Australians who need some assistance to maintain their independence.

Contacting My Aged Care will initiate an assessment for services.

Fees

Fees are determined in accordance with CHSP Client Contribution Policy which asks clients to declare their income level and any extraordinary expenses so that appropriate fees can be set.
