Cemeteries

The Mornington Cemetery can offer burials in the lawn sections of the cemetery together with garden and wall memorials.

Located on the corner of Nepean Highway and Craigie Road Mount Martha, this cemetery reflects the historical importance of early residents of Mornington and the peninsula.

Names like Benton, Strachan and Harrap are just a few past residents of the community who are buried in this cemetery.

Vehicle access Monday to Friday between 8am – 4pm and on some public holidays.
Parking is available outside the cemetery gates.
Vehicle access is not available on weekends. 
Pedestrian access is available at all times.

The main entrance to the cemetery is on Arthurs Seat Road, Dromana. Melways reference: 159 E9.

For security reasons the cemetery gates are closed at sunset and are opened at sunrise. Unfortunately there are no longer any new grave sites available at Dromana, but arrangements can be made for a memorial on the cemetery's Memorial Wall.

Located within the township of Flinders on Stokes Street, Melways 261 J7. The appeal of this cemetery is for families who prefer the traditional monumental cemetery.

This cemetery can also offer sites on the Memorial Wall for cremated remains.

This cemetery is situated in a quiet area of the peninsula and being a smaller cemetery it appeals to the families in the Western Port area. Located in Cemetery Road, Hastings, Melways 155 D9.

This cemetery offers monumental grave sites to families that wish to have a monument as a remembrance to their loved one.

Crib Point Cemetery is located in Disney Street Crib Point 3919 and is managed by the Crib Point Cemetery Trust.
