FREE Yarning Circle

Join Jillian West and her niece Alexandra who are proud Bunurong/Palawa women for a yarning circle at Rye Community House. Participate and engage in respectful communication using a yarning stick to facilitate our journey.

A yarning circle weaves our stories together and enables us to speak respectfully from our differing world-views and contribute the knowledge that each participant brings to the circle. It is a harmonious, creative and collaborative way of communicating which encourages responsible, respectful and honest interactions, which builds trusting relationships that foster accountability and provide a safe place to be heard and to respond. Places are limited. Parking is available.
