Body Safety Superstars Community Workshop

Mornington Peninsula Shire has engaged Body Safety Australia to deliver their Body Safety Superstars program to our community.

Body Safety Australia is a not for profit organisation committed to partnering with families and communities to prevent childhood sexual abuse and to support children in enjoying healthy, respectful relationships now and in the future.

77% of parents and carers want support in abuse prevention strategies. This online two hour practical workshop empowers families with safety tools that can be used within the home, education settings and community. Topics include:

• What is body safety and how can we support it at home?
• Identifying grooming behaviours online and offline
• Child sexual abuse: risks, myths and facts
• Q&A Forum with a Body Safety educator

Audience

All parents, carers, educators and community members are welcome to attend, however please note that this workshop is not appropriate for children.
