The Mount Martha North Foreshore Toilet Block was identified for renewal as a priority through Council's adopted 2012 Public Toilet Strategy.
The works include demolishing the existing facility and providing an accessible and fit for purpose toilet facility.
The works will meet the needs of the community in a sustainable manner and include accessible car parking spaces, paving, picnic facilities and landscaping.
Construction of the new public toilet facilities is well underway and scheduled to be completed by mid-October.
Project Update:
The newly constructed amenities, including toilets, car parking, pathways, and a drinking fountain are now complete and open to the public.
All works have been finalised, and the project achieved practical completion within the scheduled timeframes and under budget.
