Area map of the proposed changes
Mornington Peninsula Shire Council is proposing changes to parking restrictions in the Hastings Major Activity Centre, in line with the recommendations from the Hastings Parking Precinct Plan. This plan seeks to ensure that parking within the major activity centre services the diverse needs of locals, workers, and visitors by improving parking availability and traffic management. Key recommendations from the Parking Precinct Plan include improving parking restrictions in high-demand areas, upgrading wayfinding signage for drivers, and improving the accessibility of car parking.
Works have commenced on updating signage, also including updates to service signage and parking wayfinding signage throughout the Hastings Activity Centre.
