As part of looking after buildings and facilities, carpenters help to ensure Council’s buildings and structures are safe and well-maintained. In addition to undertaking general building maintenance activities and engaging specialist trades, they assist to provide after-hours building maintenance support.

As part of looking after buildings and facilities, we undertake cleaning services across a wide range of facilities, including preschools, libraries, community service centres, foreshore campgrounds and public toilets, ensuring clean and hygienic spaces for the community.

• Maintain 116 public toilet facilities.
• Clean and service 27 foreshore camping facilities and 84 barbecues.
