Planting (Revegetation) Guides
- Looking to select indigenous plants to plant on your property?
- Want to know what plant will be best on your property?
- Our revegetation planting guides let you know what plants naturally occur in your area.
If you’re thinking about planting on your property, choosing indigenous (local native) plants that are suited to your area of the Peninsula helps maintain our diverse, natural environment.
There are a range of different types of vegetation on the Peninsula. To help you select plants that suit your area we created the revegetation guides. The guides are based on seven geographic regions of the Peninsula.
If you prefer a print version please contact the Shire and we can post one out to you. Or pick one up next time you visit one of our service centres.
