Tootgarook Bushland Reserve

The wetlands protected in this bushland reserve are an important part of the much larger Tootgarook wetland complex. The reserve provides important habitat for wetland birds and opportunities to see these species are enhanced by carefully placed bird hides and viewing platforms.  

An information shelter provides a welcome point for visiting groups to congregate before setting off to explore the area via boardwalks and gravel tracks.

Friends Group: Joining a Friends Group is a great way to be involved in your local community and helps protect biodiversity. Friend's of Tootgarook Wetland are active in this reserve.
