Dromana: Hillview Reserve - Footpath and Playground

Design for a new footpath, carpark and playground design is progressing for Hillview Reserve. The project will give a facelift to the reserve to meet the growing population demand in the area.

Cultural Heritage salvage works have been completed by the Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation (BLCAC). Artifacts were found and a salvage report is in the process of being completed.  The final salvage report is due for review and approval by 2025.

Contractors for the playground project and the carpark and footpath project have been engaged. Playground and carpark works have commenced on site with an estimated project completion date of September 2025

Status:

  • Salvage works for the playground component are now complete.
  • Playground, Car park and Pathway works contracts have been awarded.
  • Amended CHMP has been received from BLCAC.
  • Agi pipes installation works for the playground in progress.
  • Car park earthworks in progress.
