Traveling with a Hidden Disability

Living and traveling with a hidden disability or condition can be challenging, especially when others may not recognise your need for extra time or understanding. Read on to help plan your visit and learn what to expect.

Hidden Disability Sunflower Program

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a symbol that people can wear discreetly to indicate that they have an invisible disability or condition and may need additional help.

Mornington Peninsula Shire embraces the Hidden Disability Sunflower program. Look for the sunflower on the door of participating Sunflower-friendly businesses including our libraries and Mornington Peninsula Visitor Information Centre.
