Meet Jack & Josh: local artists turning waste trucks into masterpieces
Published on 03 October 2025
Growing up on the Mornington Peninsula, artists Jack and Josh know this place inside out. From childhoods spent growing up by the coast to careers built around creativity, their work has always been shaped by the Peninsula’s people and landscapes.
Now, their latest canvas is one you’ll soon spot rumbling down your street – our brand-new waste trucks!
Instead of blending into the background, these trucks are being transformed with vibrant murals designed by Jack and Josh, turning bin day into a moving celebration of our community and environment.
The murals highlight everything we love about the Peninsula. It’s art with a purpose – showcasing local talent while reminding us to protect the place we call home.
And the creativity doesn’t stop there! Kids across the Peninsula can join in the fun through the Waste Truck Colouring Competition. With exclusive sheets with Jack and Josh’s mural designs, preschoolers through to 12-year-olds can get colouring for a chance to win awesome prizes.
