World Wetlands Day Comes to Coolart

World Wetlands Day is an international celebration that highlights the importance of wetlands in caring for wildlife, water, climate and Country. At Coolart, we mark the day with a family-friendly, hands-on learning experience that helps us connect with nature through creativity, play and discovery.

This year’s program has been designed to be engaging for all ages, while supporting environmental learning in a fun, memorable way with walks, talks, art work shops, kids activities, music and dance.

Alongside the activities, families can enjoy the Currents of Practice art exhibition, grab crêpes at the Homestead, and make a relaxed day of learning outdoors together.

Don't miss the renowned Ganga Giri and the Djarlo Dance Group perform in the garden's on Saturday, 31 January from 9.45am - free entry.
