We're calling all community members – dog lovers and everyone else – to fetch your thoughts and share your feedback on our review of leash-free and dog-prohibited areas.
Managing dogs in public spaces and promoting responsible pet ownership is crucial for maintaining community wellbeing, safety, and protecting our local environment.

In 2023, we adopted our Dogs in Public Places Policy after listening to over 770 voices from our community.
Now, it's time for a review! We're sniffing out new spots and re-evaluating some current leash-free and dog-prohibited areas.

Join us at a series of pop-up sessions throughout the Peninsula, where you can ask questions to learn more about the project and provide your feedback.
