Dromana Australia Day

The Dromana Australia Day Committee has planned a great day of entertainment, amusements, presentations, displays and give-aways. Close to 30 local community groups will be involved. We are expecting a crowd of several thousand locals and visitors.

The day will begin at 8.30 am with a free community breakfast. The event is substantially free for everyone, with activities for all ages and backgrounds – a fantastic family day. Live entertainment includes: “80’s On the Edge”, Charlie Silly Pants and Singing Circle. At 11.30 am there will be a flag raising ceremony, anthem singing and marching. Community awards will be presented from the stage during the morning. The event will conclude at 1.30 pm.

We thank you for your ongoing support (this will be our 21st Australia Day Event in Dromana) and acknowledge those who have been able to sponsor us over the years. We could not run our event successfully without your support and sponsorship.

All members of our committee are volunteers who give up their time and work for months with a desire to showcase our amazing Dromana township, and to celebrate Australia Day. Hopefully, with the influx of visitors to our town, the impact should be positive for your businesses, services, etc.
