Locals, it’s time to get your hands dirty (in the best way).  
 
Mornington Peninsula residents can collect three free indigenous plants per household from The Briars Nursery on the following dates: 

  • Wednesday 25 March, 9am – 3.30pm 
  • Thursday 26 March, 9am – 3.30pm 
  • Friday 27 March, 9am – 3.30pm 
  • Saturday 28 March, 9am – 1pm 
  • Tuesday 31 March, 9am – 3.30pm
  • Wednesday 1 April, 9am – 3.30pm 
  • Thursday 2 April, 9am – 3.30pm 

(Or until giveaway stocks run out!)

Whether you’ve got a big backyard or a cosy courtyard, there’s something for every garden. From trees to low groundcovers, the Nursery team has carefully selected a range of tube stock to suit all spaces – all grown right here in Mount Martha, many from locally collected seed.

All you need to bring isproof of Mornington Peninsula residency! 

Let’s grow a greener Peninsula–one plant at a time.

How to get to the nursery: 
The Shire Nursery is located at The Briars (450 Nepean Highway, Mount Martha). Follow the directional signs to the top of the hill. The carpark islocatedat the front of the Nursery next to the Eco Living Display Centre.
