On April 1st, Tye Hodgson, his mum Tracey, and some of our golf course team attended the Holmesglen Student Awards, where he was recognized for his hard work and dedication. Tye was named Outstanding First-Year Student in Sports Turf Management, highlighting his exceptional skills and knowledge in maintaining sports turf. Additionally, he received the Percy Moore Award for Outstanding First-Year Apprentice in all categories, underscoring his exemplary performance and commitment across various trades.

These achievements testify to Tye's dedication and passion for his work. His journey as an apprentice has been marked by consistent effort, a willingness to learn, and a drive to excel in his field. The Golf Course team and the whole Shire are very proud of Tye, and we wanted to share this news with all of you. Tye's accomplishments highlight the dedication and talent of our local young people thriving in their roles within our community. They serve as an inspiration to other young individuals pursuing their careers with the same enthusiasm and commitment.
