Rye: Melbourne Road and Peninsula Avenue - Raised Platforms

This project was granted funding in the 2024-25 Federal Blackspot Program and seeks to improve safety conditions at the intersection by reducing approach speeds and reducing the number of potential collision points at the intersection.

The scope of works included:

Installation of raised safety platform on Melbourne Rd approaches
Speed limit reduction to 60 km/h between Dundas St and French St
Installation of additional warning signage.

The works have now been completed.
