Mornington Peninsula Shire Council (Council) hereby gives notice under section 115 of the Local Government Act 2020 (the Act) of its intention to enter into a lease with Indara Corporation Pty Ltd (ACN 643 875 165) on the proposed lease terms outlined below:
- Premises: 105 Long Point Road, Cape Schanck
- Permitted Use: Installing, storing, operating, repairing, maintaining, altering and replacing and removal of the Tenant’s equipment for the purpose of telecommunications operations
- Term: 5 years with 3 further options of 5 years
- Commencement Date: 1 September 2023
- Rental: $27,000 per annum plus GST
- Rent Review: Adjusted annually by 3%
- Outgoings: Rates, taxes, services and insurances payable by the Tenant
- Repairs and Maintenance: All maintenance and repairs of the Premises is the responsibility of the Tenant.
Council previously carried out community engagement in relation to a proposal to lease the Premises on 20 September 2024, however the notice incorrectly identified the proposed tenant as Optus. The correct tenant entering into the lease of the Premises is Indara Corporation Pty Ltd.
