Somers Wayfinding Signage

Our Somers community has let us know they sometimes feel unsafe when walking and riding on the busy and narrow main roads in their town. The trickiest areas are around the main busy roads and along the bus route, including Tasman Road, The Boulevard and Parklands Avenue. With narrow and heavily vegetated nature strips these roads can pose problems for pedestrians.

To address this issue, we have developed a suite of wayfinding signage that will direct pedestrians onto quieter streets so they can travel throughout the town safely.

Now, we would like the community’s feedback on the proposed signage to make sure we have got it right.
