Late autumn is the best time for planting on the Peninsula, either filling in the gaps or starting a garden of plants that will give you and our wildlife great delight.
The Australian Plants Society Mornington Peninsula group is hosting its annual sale of Australian plants suited to Peninsula growing conditions. Local and regional growers will give you a great opportunity to see a wide range of native and indigenous plants and source plants not easily available, as well as giving you expert information.
Books will be on sale, and there will be free talks on planting, pruning, propagating and attracting wildlife. A stall offering personal advice on wildlife gardening and local friends' groups will also be present.
So come along and manicure your green thumb!
