Residential Aged Care Facilities Reform

To meet Victoria's growing ageing population, the Minister for Planning requested the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) to reform existing planning controls to support a more streamlined approach to developing residential aged care (RAC) facilities.

Supporting RAC facilities throughout our urban environment will allow older people to live in appropriate housing and remain in their local community.
