This policy establishes a lawful, consistent and best-practice framework for planning decision-making, reinforcing Council’s statutory roles, clarifying the respective responsibilities of Councillors and officers, and ensuring that all planning advice and decisions are informed, consistent, and aligned with Victoria’s planning framework.
