The existing Alexandra Park sports Pavilion in need of an upgrade. The pavilion is well utilised and caters for four sporting clubs including: Mornington Football Netball Club, Mornington Junior Football Club, Peninsula Raiders Super Rules Football Club, and Mornington Cricket Club.

This project is being delivered by the Mornington Peninsula Shire in partnership with and supported by The Victorian State Government Growing Suburbs Fund, The Federal Government through The Bays Healthcare Group, AFL Victoria, and the Alexandra Park Project Group. The project will create a multiuse pavilion, which will include consulting suites and a rehabilitation centre for the local community hospital (The Bays Hospital) within the two-storey sports pavilion.

Construction has begun and the building works are expected to be completed by April 2024.
