Stefs Mini Chefs X The Truffet Emporium Collab Cooking Class

This workshop is a special THE TRUFFET EMPORIUM collaboration event.

The Truffet Emporium will be joining us with a mini POP UP STALL just for our workshop comers. If you would like to ADD ON A CHEESE BOARD there will be time during the workshop for the parents to relax and enjoy a mini picnic with some small-batch, handcrafted cheeses AND a free sneaky extra �� with every purchase. Plus time to shop their cheeses!

Suitable for ages 2 onwards

‘Stef’s Mini Chefs’ is a professionally developed children’s cooking class that allows children to participate in a rich learning experience based around food.

During the workshop we prepare, cook and consume a nutritious savoury and sweet snack for your little one using The Truffet Emporium delicious produce. We believe by including your little ones in the preparation process it allows them to achieve a sense of fulfillment and enhances the desire to consume what they have created.

The workshop includes:

OPTIONAL ADD ON CHEESE BOARD for the parents to relax with some small-batch, handcrafted cheeses.
Cooking with mostly organic, fresh, good quality local produce and The Truffet Emporium cheese.
Following a gluten free, refined sugar free and predominately dairy free recipe
Filling their tummy with what they create
Introducing new foods and flavours to enhance nutrition
Some arts and crafts to create a lasting memory

This unique opportunity encourages children to:

Develop fundamental math, science and language skills in a fun, practical and visual manner
Gain life skills
Enhance their connection with nutritious foods
Learn to count
Recognise different colours
Learn simple additions through recipe measurements
Introduce new textures
Build on social/emotional skills

By educating yourself and your little one on the simplicity of creating a nutritious snack we hope to create a new love for food and enhance confidence in the kitchen to provide delicious, good quality snacks for the entire family!

ALL FOOD HANDLING AND PREPARATION will be done by parents and kids with guidance from myself.
ALL RECIPES are gluten free and refined sugar free.

NOTE: At this time our workshop is not a drop off program. All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
