Rye Community Festival

Join us on election day at the Rye Foreshore for a full day of music, creativity and community.

 

Enjoy main stage performances featuring magician Luigi Zucchini, Sooshi Kids Dance & Rap, All ages Body percussion & Samba drumming with MI Collective, plus ambient DJ sets from Ethos Collective Sound, alongside Live Art by FatherMarker.

 

There’s plenty for the kids, with Box Wars cardboard costume workshops, circus activities, giant bubbles, a roaming stilt walker, and hands-on cooking and clay workshops for all ages throughout the day.

 

Explore community stalls, indigenous plants, and local makers, with botanical vodka tastings for the grown-ups. Grab a bite from food trucks and desserts, enjoy a licensed bar, or stop by the Rotary sausage sizzle. You'll also see visits from the CFA, Victoria Police Community Engagement Unit, local sports groups and emergency services.
