Ashleigh Pugh is a descendant of the Noongar People from Whadyuk Country. She works with a variety of media including pyrography, acrylics, jewellery, sculpture and painting on reclaimed items. The Mornington Peninsula is deeply important to her work and Ash is often fishing, harvesting and collecting treasures from the shoreline which informs her practice.
Andrea Cowling is a proud Gunditjmara woman from the Mornington Peninsula. Her country is the western district of Victoria where the World Heritage listed Landscape of Budj Bim is on show. Each of her woven creations are perfectly imperfect, showing light and shade in each piece.
