Capel Sound Community Hub is a welcoming, not-for-profit community organisation located in Capel Sound on the Mornington Peninsula. Originally opened in May 2023 as Seawinds Community Hub, the organisation was rebranded to Capel Sound Community Hub in October 2025 to better reflect its connection to the local community.
The Hub provides support, information, and programs for people of all ages, from young families to older community members.

Capel Sound Community Hub welcomes community groups, organisations and individuals to use our meeting and activity spaces. Rooms are available for hire during normal business hours, with evening and weekend bookings available by arrangement.

Gather Café and catering
Gather Cafe is a community-led space offering fresh, seasonal food, frozen meals, great coffee, and a welcoming environment. Ingredients are sourced locally or come from our Community Garden.
The cafe supports local volunteers and students, helping them build skills while connecting with the community.

Early Learning Centre
Seawinds Early Learning Centre is a quality, not-for-profit early childhood education and care, housed within the Capel Sound Community Hub, a community centre with strong ties to local schools, local organisations and services.
The Centre offers community based early childhood services:
- Long day care for children from 6 months to 6 years, open 7.00am to 5.45pm Monday to Friday
- 3-Year-old sessional Kindergarten on Mondays and Tuesdays (15 hours per week) - Victorian Government funded
- 4-Year-old sessional Kindergarten on Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays (15 hours per week) - Victorian Government funded
- Before and After Kindergarten care, outside of sessional Kindergarten program
